It really looks more like winter these days, we have been receiving new
snow over this past week and the skiing is really quite good. Despite some
very strong winds on Thursday, the trails should be packed in and ready for
the weekend. Saturday appears to be the nicer day of the weekend, with
another storm slated for Sunday and possibly a stormy week ahead- let's
hope winter holds on for awhile? Enjoy your visit. Message posted by Ted

Can anyone out there pass on any information regarding skiing the east-facing drainage off the ridgeline (9.000') towards the East Fork Trail? How is the cover? Is it cliffy or too heavily treed to get through? Thanks.

ski trail update for 2/12-19/07

Some much needed new snow finally arrived on the north slope. The higher
elevations fared better with the Mirror Lake area receiving 18-20", while
half that fell around Lily Lake and we could receive a few more inches
before the weekend. We have done some mid-week grooming and will try to
keep the trails packed as we get more snow. The skiing conditions have
greatly improved and should be a nice weekend to get out. Enjoy your
visit. This message posted by Ted at the Forest Service.

Lily Lake trail conditions

As of Thursday afternoon no new snow has fallen, but we are hopeful that
snow will arrive this weekend. Despite the warm temperatures the trails
are holding up, it is soft and slow going during the afternoon hours. The
evening hours are just barely cold enough to groom, but we will make an
attempt to set tracks. Message posted by Ted at the Forest Service.
