Rick Schuler called today and said the Boundary Creek Yurt was approved.

Tentatively he is talking to the Firefighting folks about scheduling a helicopter the second week of July.
This could change if there is a fire to put out.

The forest service will furnish an outhouse for this Yurt.

Joe, have you called Pacific Yurt about new side walls and roof etc?
Lets get this ordered ASAP.

We also have to complete a list of items to be hauled in by the helicopter.

Looks like another busy summer.

North Slope Conditions Athony Horan is conducting a spring ski on June 3, if conditions permit. We will be meeting at the Ruth Lake trailhead on Highway 150 at 10 AM. By all accounts, this kind of skiing can be an exceptional experience.

Whenever you have been on an outing to the North Slope of the Uintas, we would like for you to post to this web log what conditions were, or anything of interest to someone who may be going out. In the winter, the area of interest would include the town trails conditions, too.

If we all get in the habit of doing this, the page can be a great asset to the community. If we rely on one person to keep all of the conditions current, the page has marginal value.
